| Another Warning

 I copied this from a thread on Fred's board;

 If you are traveling by boat down the baja coast, beware of banditos boarding your boat at night while you sleep. We were anchored inside the north
end of Mag bay and caught 3 banditos in a panga trying to board us at 1:30am. They approached with the motor off and were in our c-ckpit and luckily a
guy on our boat just happened to walk out. We scared them off and they got nothing. Put the word out for boat travelers to put their stuff away and
try to prevent that from happening. It could happen anywhere.

 True...Diver...So True...Setting up little trip wires with cow bells can be very helpful..
 I do it with my surfboards...I put cowbells attatched to them when we are sleeping
 so that we can hear them at night if they should be touched...We call it LO-JACK...
 Its not a perfect system...but its something...

 Baja California can be a heaven or hell experience - often the determining factor is your AWARENESS in the moment. |

 I vote for Clay Moore.

 It's easy to make electronic trip wire warning/alarms. Some wooden clothes pins, thubmtacks, fishing line, 9v batteries and flashbulbs or noise
makers. They work!!!

 I usually opt for the really cheap and easy trip wires.... fishing line strung to empty beer bottles sitting on rocks

 (Of course, I realize this wouldn't help with the issue of pirates... I like the idea about wiring to a horn, light or alarm.)

 Build a moat around your boat, and fill it with giant manta rays, and hungry sharks and crodociles...
