Friend & Neighbor passes on

Friday evening, January 18th, Terry Ward of Campo LaJolla, Punta Banda passed on from an apparent heart attack. He was 72 years old. Terry and his wife Nancy moved here from Redondo Beach, CA 8 years ago when he retired. I first met Terry when I was moving to Ensenada; he was a big help that I will not forget. He enjoyed Baja as much as anybody and especially enjoyed fishing, photography, and observing all the SCORE races first hand. He will really be missed.

I was so sorry to read about Terry this morning in the PB newsletter. We would kid him about why it was always windy in Bahia when he would go there to fish, and never for us. He will be missed in the community.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Nancy.

Paulina, Dern y Cody

Terry was also a Nomad, bajaward. Not a big poster but a Nomad none-the-less. He also maintained a website of their life here. www.bajaward.com Vaya con Dios, Terry.
