My Mistress—Baja

A place easily visited
but a land impossible to leave.
You may walk away

But you shall never leave.
A part of you will always remain
Her spirit will reside forever in your soul

Try as you might you will never
Cast her from your heart
Understanding that

You might just as well let her sun warm you
As her winds blow the worries from your mind
Her waters will caress and soothe your soul.

Allow her people to call you friend
Bring a smile to your face
Enjoy

Whatever you do will not matter
For she will forever ride upon your shoulder
And whisper into your ear.

A mistress that may never be forsaken
No matter how hard you may try
Baja

Well said Bernie.

The power of that Mistress overshadows all the negatives of Baja Norte for me. A very strong force indeed.

Thanks my friend
