Pacifico has more character of its own than the other pilsner German-Mexican brews... price has nothing to do with its popularity.
I do 'rotate' the various Mexican beers I like... Pacifico is always #1, but I will switch to XX Special Lager, Carta Blanca, Tijuana, Mexicali,
Tecate, Superior, Modelo even... just never Corona!

I'm absolutly positive and know for a fact that the Corona one sees in the stores today has already been consumed three or four times.

Something about a clear bottle... and that God aweful taste... It is funny too, in that the first beer we kids liked and drank in Baja was
Corona!!! Either our 18 year old taste buds grew up or the beer we
bought in San Felipe in 1975 has sure changed!

I too voted for Pacifico. Back in my college days my favorite was Superior though.
I don't see it anymore. Is it available in Baja?
Would be interesting to see if I still liked it.

I'd sooner drink iced pee than Corona, but I'm sorry about that because they have such great TV commeercials.

And to keep within the thread, I love a REAL Mexican Margarita, sin sal, por favor, shaken, and stirred, in a nice Margi glass!

As Gnukid is ,to me, the entertaining one on this board,*********************************. Gotto hold him in honor. Entertaining in his own right.
Back to the subject:
Years ago, when they just started distributing Pacifico in Baja, I got a bottle that not quite made it through the cleaning process and was 1/3 filled
with some substance I hate to determine. Put me off of it for a while. Loved it in Mazatlan. (Beergarden!!!)
Also ,anyone know why XXlager Ambar is not available in Baja. Find it anywhere on the mainland. Good beer !!!
Would even prefer it over Pacifico,if available.

It's everywhere here, Ed. Very tastey stuff.
many years ago, my buddy found a lime in a bottle of Pacifico. Things have changed in the bottleing industry, I hope.

Would it be a highjacking if I admitted that aside from the Negra Modelo, my favorite drink is milk?

Lera,
Scotch and milk is a great tasting drink.
Knew some guys who used to drink that to pacify their ulcers.

I got one with a moldy blue/green lemon slice inside, didn't notice until I'd already chugged half. Have hated the idea of putting lemon or lime
slices in the bottle ever since.
All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.
