As was the lime. Pacifico [ my choice today ] was the culprit.

Okay, I will step and be the recipient of all jokes! I will admit that I love plain old Modelo in cans. I squeeze an entire lime on the top (before opening the can) and salt the heck out of it. Pop the top & polish it off. The only way to go. What is shocking to me is that it is more expensive than Pacifico (at least around my house).

I found Leon Negra at Sam's Club in Ensenada. It was in non-returnable bottles, but it taste just fine. So, it looks like Sam's Club will be a stopping point for now on.

Yep, the most dangerous beverage from the worlds most dangerous city! :bounce:

This is the smoothest rum any of my friends in Temecula have ever tasted. They couldn't believe the stuff.

Here is what Bevmax.com said about Ron Medellin:

Ron Medellin Rum 750ml
Sku: 20566
On Sale $16.99

Colombian rum produced from the finest pure cane sugar. It has a slightly sweet and fruit aroma and flavor and mixes well in all rum-based drinks as well as on the rocks.

I like Pacifico myself. But keep a lot of tequilas and rums on hand for any local that may show up to drink all my cervesa.

Yes Gringo, if it is a alcohol mix drink... I really like MARGARITAS CADILLAC... El Nido(Rosarito) and Villa Ortega (Puerto Nuevo) are the best..IMHO
