I'm interested as I have plans and architect and will be there in April to finalize the construction plans-- I have several I'll be talking to and would welcome the opportunity to have a good view of what is available-- when you email - what do you mean La paz costs?? I know what I thinkis reasonable in the market and would like to hear other cost estimates-- thanks-- Norm

Architect/Builder Jesus Cortes in Loreto

I may have been on his waiting list for a year, but our man in Loreto, Jesus "Chucho" Cortes, is worth it!!!!

He is giving Loreto a sort of homogeneous architectural style, which he told me he has derived from the San Javier Mission.

We started construction in mid November, and the results are impressive. He has also honored his original quote from June '06 of $79.00 per square foot. We sat down with him and worked out our deal, with us supplying US made fixtures, cabinets, doors and windows.

Each and every detail I requested is in place, and the additions (extra electrical and gas stub ins, niches and arches) have been knocked out in a matter of days.

Jesus' team is on top of it!! I have no less than 10 workers on site every day, and his office staff is the best.

All this, and the man plays drums in a rock band and rides a Harley. Que chulo!!

But kidding aside, I highly recommend him. Check out his web site. www.jcortesl.com
