Nice South breeze in Baja Sur...

Summer must be coming. I noticed a nice breeze from the south in Los Cabos today, and it's still nice in Los Barriles.

Tomorrow is kayak-fishing day!

Well, if I leave Tio Pablo's soon after just two fresh mint mojitos...

Wow, no north winds two days in a row!

Beautiful kayaking, terrible kite-surfing...going again Saturday early.

Does anybody know how to hook those schools of ladyfish beneath me?

vandy....for the 'poor man's tarpon' or ladyfish, try a small fly. Bob y Susan, the ladyfish is an excellent bait for larger types, and is really fun to catch. Make lots of leaps around the kayak...would be a blast.

p.s. On eating? Personally never tried them, although I have heard of grinding them into fishcakes. Perhaps someone has a good recipe?

By the way, spring has arrived in Conception Bay. VERY nice here now.
