Baja Fish Taco Esq.
TacoTime is now so cool with their north of the border creation abortion called a "Baja Fish Taco".
Move over you infidels, there are new boys on the block.
Think they will be popular in Baja? Does Baja have that corporate franchise?

Conspiracy theory Sharks. Even Spencers Market is getting into the game. I think that they know there are so many of us Baja jones-ers stuck up here
stateside that we'll buy/eat anything with the label "Baja" stuck to it. Check out the lower right hand corner.
Baja filets, a grilling favorite!

The next best thing to being in Baja is to eat something called Baja This or That? Some words defy protection. These merchandisers bring to mind
something Baja that needs to be kissed.

We walked into the Taco Viva near us and my son ordered, "dos tacos de carne ;solo carne, no queso, no salada por favor."
The mexican-american kid at the counter has no clue what he was saying.

That taco looks nasty!
The San Diego paper had an article about Taco Bell's plans to open some shops in Tijuana. When one TJ resident was asked what he thought about Taco
Bell food he commented that he wished they would build a Jack in the Box (Burger joint in So. Cal) instead because their taco "tasted good"

So it's a Norwegian/S Dakota potato replacement conspiracy. Holy Tater Tots!
Personally, I lean towards her tamales
Sorry Roger haven't had the pleasure of lefse but I stayed at a Holiday Inn recently!
Duo, how in the world did you find THAT?

KB,
A bit grandiose, are we???
Think you are a country, now? Off your meds...?
I know you probably meant "Hungry"....
As for fish tacos, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED when down in Zihuatanejo area recently....all the fish tacos were either like empanadas with shredded tuna
(so-so taste)

or open tacos with tiny pieces of grilled fish (not enough fish) smothered in fresh salsa...
I appreciate that cuisine varies from one location to another all over the world....but Baja has spoiled me for their style of fish taco ... they are
THE BEST....even when not so good

The fish taco was invented in San Felipe! There is a fish taco courtyard on the south end of the Malecon (street along the beach, downtown)... Park
and sample! They go best with PACIFICO beer!!! (Baja Angel likes SOL beer, when available)
