Killing time in Tijuana...

...while waiting for the Bronco's new paint to dry...You can çlick on the pic's to get a larger image...

On Ave. Revolution...Took a picture of some tourists taking pictures of the Grande ''MacDonald's Arch''...

Then I was treated to a Guitar Solo by a passing gentleman...

So I decided that was a neat way to pick up a few Peso's...

That worked out so good, I bought a curio shop and tried my hand at Hawking some T-shirts to the passing Tourists...

Well, that didn't pan out...there aren't many tourists to sell too here right now...so I went over and tried my hand at hawking Comida and Cerveza - everybody had to eat, right....

Alas, I had to take a break and try some cerveza myself...now that's the way to spend a day and celebrate good old St. Paddy's Day!

"China people" is an extremely ignorant way to describe someone coming from another part of the world.

Asian. Eastern. Chinese, even. There's nothing wrong with sounding like an adult when describing someone of another ethnicity, that's all.

Ken, I'm hoping/thinking "China people" may have just been a typo or mis-edit, possibly a result of too many beers with the mariachi guy. At least he capitalized China...

In fact I'm pretty tired today and made/caught a few typos just in this simple post. It's funny what 12 and a half hours working in the sun will do to your brain.

Hell, I meant to type "Chinese"....

...but got side tracked...I just love it when I get to 'ruffle' a few PC feathers, once in a while...;)

***you'll notice the reference to ANY race has been eliminated, thanks for showing me the errors of my ways...

BTW...I was smoking a 'stogie' when the guitar playing person came by. When we switched places, I handed him my cigar...and he started puffing away on it! He got a big kick out of my small gag...and a nice tip made him happier!

The waiter persons were at the Escape Bar, and are a good bunch! I've been by several times during my time here in TJ to sample their supply of Pacifico's. A young couple sitting there handed one of the waiters their camera to take their picture - all three of the waiters sprang into action on the street pretending to take pictures of each other...a great gag that had everyone laughing...sort of a Three Stooges kind of routine...

Fun in life is where you find it...even in good old Tijuana Town!

No. American guy, guy from the US. Sounds good. America people? What if those Asians were Americans? I understand where Ken was coming from, and I also feel Mango is correct "typo.

they probably weren't chinese at all. TJ has a high Japanense poopulation. They hid out in Mexico during WWII while all the Japanese in CA were forced into internment camps. Oh geesh- I just said "Japanese", I mean't "nips"

You are just going to have to get a little more PC correct or someone just might call you racist--just forget the 'grown up' stuff.

Pictures were great and the thoughts behind them even better.

I wonder-- seems like every Baja native refers to all Asians as Chine(sp)-- they mean no offense- it's just their descriptor for Asians- Mexray- that's the way I took it and maybe the way you meant it- How much does a paint job for a Bronco run in TJ?- Norm

Thanks for the reminder....I took my meds so I am doing better now..

It's just when folks like that open their mouths and I see inside their mind, I am tempted to take a stroll through that empty space.
