1987 Nissan Pathfinder already in baja - take it!

for sale, parked in Mulege. runs fine, had all routine maintenance by local techs there. no current tags and never imported.
its my old airport beater and despite some rust and dings etc can provide good reliable local transportation to some one. or a spare if you need one - seasonal? need one for the kids when they fly in? Wife tears up cars? want one you can get tanked in?? here's your deal.
AC good, AM FM cassette works, Automatic, 4WD, spare tire rack on hatch back. Seats and dash clean.
unique lic tag "FLYBAJA"

No price set yet - throw me some offers. use the U2U ok?

if it doesn't sell i'll send it north i guess.
This vehicle was delivered to me in 2003 by Jimmy Smith!

Did you used to be a used car salesman at some point in your life? You only forgot to add -
"We've got no down, low down .... and No Credit, Nooooooo problem! We'll see ya HERE!"

Bob H

PS: You might want to post the mileage.

Mike, I see you didn't keep your FlyBaja.com web address? I bet Galen would have loved to have it! Maybe he would like your SUV, too?

lost that domain's website when i dumped earthlink, sort of.
it will be recreated soon as part of a fishing junkett deal being set up for a private deal at Chivato.
its still on my phx rig AZ lic tag FLYBAJA, Ford Explorer, 2 years ago El Jefe chief Tom and Paula spotted me on the phx 101 loop and honked, small world but my lic tag did it.

on the baja rig - was a job vehicle 1992-2001. then blew engine at 203,000 miles. i put in a used motor in phx with est 30.000 miles on it for $3500.
then 2002 tranny went so put in a rebuilt for $1650. Then it sat while i commuted by air to a San Diego job, Had Jimmy drive it to Mulege for me after Wild Bill brought home my F 250 diesel in 2003.

i think the odometer shows maybe like 212,000?? It has served mainly to run me in to town or the jungle from the serenidad and sometimes out to santispac, about 8-10 trips a year from phx mainly weekends so other than the 1000 miles getting it to mulege from phx it doesn't get a lot of miles.

it can be be seen and driven in mulege via appt.
like i said, it ain't none too pretty on the outside but it all works.

SOLD...SOLD....SOLD!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Gary and Tracy.

i'd like to take you to dinner when we get back there and if you're not back in the NW. Or - next season.

That was a great beater. I hope it lasts years more for its new owner. That was nice of him to buy it for her.

Now i need to think about another rig for Baja one day.

After the SKIM ulus packages take effect.................:rolleyes:
