Drive Times

although I have the milages, there seems to be some discrepancy regarding my calculations and "actual" drive times. Can anyone give me rough estimates for drive times?

Border to El Rosario
El Rosario to Mulege
Mulege to La Paz
La Paz to San Jose del Cabo

Thanks a million, Mike

Drive times

Border to El Rosario 5 to 5 1/2 Hrs 238 miles must fuel here
El Rosario to Mulege 9 + or - a few hrs 379 miles from El Rosario, My 2nd fuel stop

Mulege to La Paz 6-7 hrs very rough
La Paz to San Jose del Cabo 3 1/2-4 hrs + or -

If you leave from San Diego you can get your visas at the border and be in Gerrero Negro by sun set. Next day you can be in San Jose. That is making time and not enjoying the drive. If you want to enjoy take a few more days. I like to stop at San Quintin, Bay of LA, San Ignacio, Mulege, Loreto, La Paz & Los Barriles.

My fuel stops are
El Rosario 238 miles (
Gerrero Negro 210 ? I dont get diesel here
Mulege 379 from El Rosario My 2nd fuel stop and next stop is La Paz or Los Barilles.

Good luck & drive in the day light.

In general, I agree with the times between communities posted by pangamadness.

My fuel stops, about 4 hours apart, are:
Ensenada
El Rosario
Guerrero Negro
Loreto
La Paz
We make other stops as needed for lunch and/or bano.

We spend the night in GN
