Mrs. Gypsy will have to get in line behind Mrs. Fish, or beside Mrs. Fish she loves to fish. I look forward to the day when I can throw some lines
down there with you. What a privilage indeed. I was too sick to come and see you when I was in Baja last and won't let that happen again.

My mistake Gypsy, we were not in Asuncion at the same time. I recall the wonderful pics of you and your family visiting Asuncion. When in Loreto I
missed meeting with a woman there who is into flyfishing. Hope to see you in Asuncion and to wet some lines with you. These drugs I am taking are
great for pain, for the memory, not so much.

On the mend down and up 15 stairs today and more! Thanks for all the wonderful vibes. I hope to see you after Christmas in Baja!! Yea!!
This surgery, True Anterior Total Hip Replacement has been done here in Oregon for the last two years and my surgeon has been doing them for six
months. It requires a special table and a surgeon who has done this procedure, it will revolutionalize total hip replacement. Used to be hospitalized
for a month and then months of rehab. I decended and assended 15 stairs today...imagine that! I am pleased to be able to share this with others who
will at some time be facing this surgery. Be sure you can get the True Anterior, lot fewer complications and a way faster recovery. They nurses tell
me that the knees are getting better too. Do your internet research and advocate for the best!
The drugs are wonderful and ones pain can be adequately managed. Now docs are learning to adequately treat pain so that the meds can stay ahead of the
pain. Be sure to discuss this with your doc. If they are nervous about narcotics and aggressive pain management, get another doc.
C. Wright Mills, the Sociologist, said that when personal problems become public issues then social change can occur. This medium affords us with an
excellent vehicle to turn our personal problems into public issues. I think an excellent example of this is BajaNomads and the real time discussions
of issues related to safety and tourism in Mexico. One never knows who will read what we post and there is power in numbers. We do get to know each
other, even if not directly and that knowledge is translated into caring to wit the thread on our amigo in Asuncion who had the auto accident and the
generous support of Nomads to the local people and communities of the Baja.
Abrazos Forte Amigos!

Grover, what happened to that great x-ray? I loved that image and did not copy it at the time, can you repost it? I hope I did not offend you with my
response.
I wrote "After the shock of the xray so generously posted by grover I have decided that I was not given the entire deal. I now see that I have been
very confused about the correct administration site for that product in the picture, you are truely a very bad man, I mean it Grover! I mean seriously
bad" and it appears that Dennis read that as a dis to you. I meant it as humor and apologize if I hurt your feelings. That is an amazing image. It
made me laugh outloud at a time when I was in great pain.
I hope that you can repost the image, or find some way to send it to me. I want to save it.

Thanks, I snagged the image.
My daughter once did a tast test, compare pepsi and coke. Much careful consideration by the tasters, much discussion of the varying quality. Funny
thing was both cups contained the same soda!
By the way, any idea how the guy gets that thing open? I know some folks use their teeth?
Good to hear from you.

Yup, Newton was right about apples and men!
I am healing amazingly fast. One week and two days from surgery and I am walking, first steps with out crutches yesterday. Steps, well, sort of feable
hop steps, but they count in my book!
Gracias amigos for your caring, energy and support!
To my pescador amigos, "Keep your tip up!"

Flyguy, I don't know how you did it. There's nothing wrong with my hips but you made the procedure sound so new/easy/effective in lots of ways unheard
of such a short time ago that now I want a new hip (or two) of my own. Had to be the hipperbole.

It is not hipperbole Osprey, hipperbole, I love it!, PT came by today and after one week and three days I am walking with a cane only. I am to walk
four to five blocks per day. I have already regained my full height and gait. This new surgery is amazing, because they don't cut tendons, ligaments
or muscle, the infrastructure remains intact and so healing can progress with minimal limitations. I don't mean to focus so much on myself here, we
are all dealing with decrepitude to some extent or another, but I really want people to know that this surgery is now available. The older methods
required significant immobility and much longer healing times!
Thanks for all the care and concern, I appreciate it and the opportunity to let a community of people who may at some time need a procedure like this
that it is now here and works.
Sorry about your tip baitcast, close it in a car door? or put it someplace it didn't belong? Like a too short suit case? Most commonly happens with
trunk lids and car doors. My best to you. Doesn't seem to have affeted your fishing though.
