New Military Checkpoint in Mulege

I received an email from a friend today saying that there was a new Military checkpoint on the highway in front of the Pemex station. Can anyone confirm this?

You mean the Pemex out past the Serenidad turnoff or the one in town?

 where?

For that matter, so what... are you going to be transporting some ammo or drugs? :wow:

Checkpoints come and go... only a couple have stayed in the same place and are usually open!

It is a fun card game that the girls play while drinking margaritas.

Yes, the checkpoint was on the highway at the Pemex Monday evening.

Is the one who first consumes 31 Margaritas the winner?
Sounds like fun!

Lauri, you must play 31 with Wendy, Myra and Suzie, just to name a few of the girls I knew when we lived there.

The checkpoint is gone now?? Does anyone know why it was so shortlived?

It will certainly make the daily trek from Coyote Bay to town for lunch easier come October.

Has this been constant since the hijacking or has it increased today in particular?
