Beaches of Baja

While at the Pyramid signing I met a person who described herself as a long time lurker on this site and she had an interesting question to which I had no answer that would please her.

She wanted to know if anyone had done a photo collection of beaches from the Pacific in Baja Norte around the point and then up the Sea to San Felipe. This person said that she wanted to put together a trip where she could linger for a relaxing day or three at each of the beaches that called to her. Seemed like one heck of a great trip to me!

Can you guys and gals post the pictures of your most favorite beaches.....both large and small with a little description of their location to assist with this project---Heck I just might use the information to plan some trips myself.

Come to think of it I do believe that we could all benefit from this information.

Hey! Mateo & Barbara..........you guys are the experts--want to give us a hand with this request.

Oh! The lady in question may soon be posting as CsandJamie and she owns a shop in Sunset Beach--I kept saying Seal Beach and she just kept correcting me.

Her shop is called Sea, Sand, & Jamie--she says if you are in the area just drop by...You can't miss it as it is painted bright yellow and blue.

My web site has many beach shots taken on my camping trips, but in a nutshell on VivaBaja.com she can find beach photos of:

Punta Cabras, Cielito Lindo, La Bocana (by El Rosario), near Punta Lobos (7 Sisters coast), San Roque, Bahia Asuncion, Punta Abreojos, Cabo San Lucas, Agua Verde, Bahia Concepcion, San Francisquito, Bahia San Rafael, Bahia las Animas, Bahia de los Angeles, Punta Candelero, Bahia San Luis Gonzaga, Nuevo Mazatlan, Bahia Santa Maria, Shell Island...

Now, if you would like me to provide links to the above beach photos so she doesn't have to search... well, that will be later! However, she can use my Baja Tours web page to easily find my photos of places in Baja: http://community-2.webtv.net/vivabaja/tours

Gosh, there are hundreds of awesome beaches...maybe more! But MY all time favorite is San Roque...my first night camping was beside this little grave yard...maybe this photo could end your beach series....my last beach!

Sirena is still reading the books...darn literate kids! Funny thing is San Roque is a famous ghost camp but I've only had a couple run ins with the spooks there..I'm way scarier than they are!!! I think I'm the only person who isn't scared of em....ask anyone who lived in San Roque...they all have terrific tales of lots of different ghosts.
