Come on, now, how clueless can you be? What have I said that makes you think I feel more entitled, or would complain to the moderators? I have said
clearly what I think right here, don't need to do more than that. You have completely closed your mind to your behavior. YOU are the one who feels
more entitled, as most everyone has had their posts removed, without the drama you are imposing on the entire board. Wake up, it is clear from your
(other) posts that your heart is in the right place, but you have decided to make a stand on this issue and you are WRONG. And, even if you are not,
it doesn't matter, the moderators are entitled to do what they did. Think about it. And, with that I am done. Sleep well, and I hope "your point being
proven" makes you feel better.

How do you know whatever was "banned" was banned because one or more members hit the report button? How can you be so positive that
Hose A or Doug didn't feel whatever you posted was outside the scope of acceptability or board rules?
I read your statement initially & the 3-4 times you've modified it; it's too bad you feel you need to punish/irritate everyone else on the site
for one (or more) person(s) hitting the report button or a moderator making a decision to remove a post? IMHO, you are showing tremendous disrespect
to a lot of innocent members, not to mention creating a horrendous waste of server space. You've made your point, please show a little respect for
all the other board members you're irritating & for the the essence of what this board is supposed to be about!
Doug, this certainly can't be what you envisioned when you created this website!! Please end this foolishness by asking him politely to
remove his half-page signature line rant.
If you wonder why knowledgeable long-time posters stop sharing valuable years worth of information & experiences and/or leave the site, this kinda
crap ought to provide insight!!

some people think their age or their post-count or their own sense of self worth imparts authority to them.
complaining about it doesn't work, just makes you look juvenile (as juvenile as the people who think they are entitled to complain about your

personally, your signature is sort of entertaining to read first time, and easy to ignore each additional time.

longlegsinlapaz you are yet another member showing your sense of greater entitlement. The information in my signature block stays until I am asked by
the owner to remove it or I am banned. Not you or other members will sway me to do otherwise. You people are just making my point. You who think you
are entitled are coming out of the woodwork into the light of day where people can see who you really are. Thank you for revealing yourselves.

imho, you can tell a lot about a person just from the icons and avitars a person attaches to their baja name. i don't know anything about what's
behind all the rants from eli-8, but if you look at the smily face with the fists, you will see a poof coming out the back side.
If that's what eli-8 uses as an icon, that must be what she/he really feels their opinion is worth....... a puff of stench in the wind.....
or........................... it could represent eli-8's feelings towards everyone else in the world. "I have an opinion and it must be posted no
matter how offensive it is..... and fart on the rest of the world if you don't like it....."
Keep in mind the tagline of the website....
PEACE, LOVE........................and fish tacos.
Hey Eli-ate, are you interested in Baja and all it has to offer and challenge both new nomads and old? Or are you looking for an outlet for your
personal gripes/b!t@#ing/opinions that don't really reflect the spirit of this website?
As I said don't know anyone involved, just looked at this post.....

Thank you for your comment BajaNuts. I will not be run over by any member in here who thinks they are more entitled than me and the others members to
enjoy Baja Nomad. My signature stays until I am told by the owner to remove it or I am banned.

Like Kate, I've somehow missed out on WTF is going on but whatever it is, there's too much of it.
Nobody "owns" a post, Elinvest, and the Nomad board does not include any elites. We are Equal-Opportunity Insulters.
We do have people who have been Mad as Hell for some time, and proud of it, however, and you're qualified to sign up for that ilk. These days there's
not much of a waiting line.
Meanwhile, your mysterious [to folks like me, at least] screeds are really adding a lot of cllutter to the Nomad board, and we all have to scroll
through it to get to stuff we find interesting. Some of us are short of time.
You might give some thought to deleting all that stuff and continuing your crusade on a fresh new level.

Thank you for your comment Bajalera. What I have in the signature block stands until the owner tells me to remove it or I am banned. I do not think I
am all that and a bag of chips, but I will be hanged if I will be dictated to by members of Baja Nomad who think they are superior to the rest of us.
That I will not tolerate from them. And you know who you are.

Personally, I have had tons of threads either moved or deleted because they were not as Baja Specific as they should have been.
Remember the Miss Colombia Swimsuit Competition in the 'Baja Photo Gallery' section???

I tried posting a Part 2 - Swimsuit Competition layout, and it got deleted. Oh well, I got over it. You should
too.

I am not removing the information contained in my signature area until I am asked to do so by the owner and/or I am banned. You elitist members who
think you can run roughshod over other members in here are in for a shocker. Your reign has come to an end as far as I am concerned. You people
jumping on the bandwagon of the elitists in here today are just showing the other members who you really are and this is a good thing because you have
been exposed. Let’s see how many more come out into the light.

Look. Because I mentioned the Miss Colombia swimsuit photos, BajaNomad just-now deleted them. I should be angry, right?
I'm getting over it, and you should too.

In a thread shari started about some pre-Columbian types of statuary I posted an image of a wood carving I photographed in a public place in Papua New
Guinea that had a huge male sex organ. It was deleted, probably for good reason. I am over it.

Ken it goes much deeper than that. There are members who think they are more entitled than other members and if you do not conform to certain member's
way of thinking or posting they try and or have your posts removed, etc. There is no one in Baja Nomad more important than the next person. As you can
see some have already come out of the woodwork. And again for the record this has nothing to do with the owner or the moderators. My signature stuff
stands as is. By the way Ken I am sorry I missed the pictures dangit.

Hey, I feel your pain. It can get frustrating indeed. On Saturday, I'm filming the Reto HARDCORE 4x4 event in Rosarito Beach. I'm sure it won't get
deleted because
1. It happened in Baja
2. There will be lots of good photography
3. The CORONA GIRLS will EACH be interviewed for the video and photographed. Maybe this will brighten up your day???

Can you more specifically define elitist as it relates to this forum?
Many of us have had posts deleted, and this certainly is not a brotherhood/sisterhood of like minded people. The opinions on this forum are wide and
different.
Some like offroad racing, some hate it
Some like fishing for keeps, some like catch and release--others don't give a rip
Some like gringo settlements/ others don't
Some visit Baja alot/ some occasionally, and some not at all
Some think this is a mystical fraternity/sorority/ other laugh at that
Some think that by belonging to this forum, someone is special/ others think that is hogwash
So I really don't understand your definition of elitist.
Many of us have had posts removed and have talked directly with the moderator about it. It is no big deal---it is only a forum afterall --- even if
the moderator is overpaid. BTW, I think he does a very good job even when I disagree with him.
So that we might understand your signature post better, can you define elitist as it pertains to this forum? I am very serious, I would like to
understand what and why you have that signature.
Thanks
Diane

It doesn't personally offend me. Probably because it does not involve me. I don't see rudeness; just a bit of an obsession with something the rest of
us aren't privy to.
I read it once and now skip over it because I don't need to read it again. I'm not sure that I ever needed to read it, but it is my choice to read it
or not.
