Ken I'll be hanged if I am going to allow any member on Baja Nomad to run roughshod over me or anyone else for that matter. They can take their
superiority and stuff it somewhere else, but not in here. I will only take down what I wrote on my signature space if asked by the owner and/or I am
banned. The elitists in here are sadly mistaken If they think they alone can shut me up. Believe me in my lifetime meaner people have tried. Ken if I
am still a member of Baja Nomad when you post the video and photos I look forward to seeing the shoot.

David, the people who ratted you out do so with regularity. Call them the "self-chosen". They like yourself have the ability to complain quietly or
secretly and get results.
Trying to bury the hatchet with the statements you made can and has been rereflected negatively towards you. I doubt all these responders are the
ones you are actually talking about. You won't hear one cluck from them.
Also I doubt these ratfinks will face you or fess up. I just wish you could do away with those silly looking GIFs. They are irritating.
The signature rant could also be shortened but deliver the same message.
Maybe something like:
"All right you gossipy muddercluckers stop ratting me out for stuff you don't like or I'll f*#%&!"

You obviously feel that your opinion is more important than most other Nomads. You choose to force your "temper tantrum" on the entire board against
the wishes of most board members.

Diver, you think I have "Superiority Issues" that I am throwing a "Temper Tantrum" and that what I am doing is a "Juvenile Response,” All I can say is
nothing could be farther from the truth and you are entitled to your opinion. What I wrote in the signature area is pretty self explanatory. It stays
until the owner asks me to remove it or I am banned from this forum. I refuse to be run roughshod over by you or anyone else in here. If you are one
of the elitists that I refer to then you need to be exposed and I have a problem with you personally. If not, then go in peace. Remember one thing.
This has nothing to do with the owner or the moderators. It has everything to do with members in here who think they are superior to others and feel
this is their private kingdom and are able to run roughshod over people either overtly or covertly. I'll be hanged if I am going to tolerate that.

I now can count on being harranged by Elist every time he/she posts and I don't even know why. I think the superiority current runs deep in the
repeated message- "don't you tell me what to think- even if it is just your opinion."
One time on the issue and I might have had some sympathy, but over and over- my opinion-it's offensive to be lectured.
I enjoy learning but I sometimes take offense at being taught.

OK I get it -- you are going to save the board for me and all of us who suffer from the slings and arrows of the unknown elitists. I would think I'm
not in the offending group- so thanks for letting me go in peace-but I'm not sure I need to be saved- at least not by you.
I take comments for what they are worth- those who have given advice freely I thank them, those who just want to chat or share experiences or photos ,
I thank them. Those who relay news about my areas of interest like fishing or building, travels or troubles- I thank them. To a person they have all
been courteous to me, given me what I asked for and I thank them.
Some folks are a little pompous, have more experience in Baja than me, know more about off-roading or fishing, building or life in the ejido. I
generally see their comments as attempts at sharing their experience and forgive their pomposity. I don't need you to save me from them- I can sort
out what needs to savored and rejected. So the way I see it- your position is rather egotistical- you know best and will be in everyone's face until
stopped by the moderators.
So with some reservations I ask the moderators to let us get back to civil discourse- exchange of good,and sometimes not so good information and keep
me from being saved by my self-appointed savior. Thanks-- Norm

Just for the record I am not a self-appointed Savior. Your post drips with sarcasm and that's ok.
For those of you who don't get what I am doing then so be it. For those who do I am continuing on until I am asked to take down my signature by the
owner not the entitled elitists. Again the item in my signature does not pertain to the owner, the moderators or the rest of the membership.
It only pertains to the elitists and their ilk in here. I just plain refuse to be run roughshod over by anyone in this forum or anywhere else for that
matter. I have been like that all of my life. I do not think I will be stopping that anytime soon.
Just for the record since I have joined Baja Nomad I have played nice in the sandbox. I continue to play nice even with this over my head.

You were asked for your definition of "elitist" & other than your same tired old oft repeated references to "running roughshod" & "intolerant
of the thoughts & posts of others", you chose not to define how you're using that term.
There is one salient FACT which flies in the face of the entire premise of your arguments here!! Either you aren't knowledgeable
enough about how this board is managed, or you are in total denial! You have repeatedly stated that you have no problem with "the moderators or the
site owner." Think on this fact: Individual members do NOT have the ability to edit or delete posts! The report button is
NOT an automated feature!!! Anytime someone hits the report button, it generates a message for the "moderator & site owner's"
review. The moderator & site owner have 100% edit or removal discretion & capability. They & they alone decide what stays & what
goes, and they do NOT automatically remove anything based on having received one or more complaints on a post. It gets edited or
removed based on the moderator or owners assessment of violation of posted Board Rules. Posts or threads are NOT removed based on a
complaint(s), they are removed based on the MERIT of the complaint(s) in accordance with Board Rules!
