Golly!

Ignored the post on Signatures for a while....then read page ONE, skipped to page FIVE and then moved on to page SEVEN to comment.

I am mostly impressed...by what I am not sure...but impressed none the less.

Wow!

And it is all about Baja.

My smidgen of a claim to fame is that I have had so many really good friends. By Bernie Swaim December 2007

Interesting, wasn't it Bernie. Perhaps it was the "Feeding Frenzy" atmosphere of it all. Humans eating humans is always a thrill to watch.

I too igniored the post until it got so many views and pages, then I always take a look to see what all the fuss is about and found it fascinating, addictive and illluminating....lots of true colours (cdn.sp) shining through. Freedom is a baja spirit as is revolt.

Shakespeare (he spelled it a dozen ways, don't correct me), the Bernie Swaim of the Middle Ages said it best

"Much ado about nothing"

I only read enough to see if there was something I had missed- nope, didn't miss much.

Looked to me like a bunch of folks trying to pad their "personal post" tallies.

Whew...I dodged a bullet. Ok, I am back on my hormone replacement therapy drugs. I must have had a suicide by host/moderator meltdown. I may still make it to Senior Nomad.

I must thank Dennis for being such a great hostage negotiator. He brought me to my senses and made me realize it was not necessary to flush myself down the drain. He also made me realize that I should stop holding hostage the non-elitist unwashed member anymore because I too am one of the unwashed. Thanks again Dennis.
All Hail Dennis! I kiss his unwashed ring.

To all the unwashed members of Baja Nomad I apologize to each and every one of you who had to put up with my big extended signature.

To all the Elitists in here I do not apologize. I just say do not rear your ugly head again. Get a clue! The people in charge do not want to hear from you if all you are doing is complaining about others.

FOR THE RECORD: I happen to like David K and his posts. He is very knowledgeable regarding “La Baja” and perhaps the most unwashed member on Baja Nomad. Elitist, who, David K; I hardly think so. It's ok if you poke him with a stick every now and again because he is tough. Just don't beat him with one.

The above statement is pure B.S. The Moderators welcome any and all input from others.
Even the more than 2 dozen in the past 2 days complaining about no one else but elvest18.
I do not need anyone else posting my thoughts or needs I am can handle it myself.

I stand corrected and grovel at your feet Hose A as I kiss your unwashed ring. You are the best.

NOTE TO ALL: The unwashed I refer to are not the Elitists. That should be obvious since I was kissing Dennis' unwashed ring earlier.

Do you think I need to go back and catch up on all the days and pages I missed:?::?:.............Naw-h-h-h-h-h-h! I think not! I don't think I am "elite" enough to get what all the fuss was about.

So...

Does this mean we get to talk about signatures some more?

As a pure bystander on this - I haven't been around long enough to be considered either an Elitest or unwashed. I am also so old and ugly that neither side would probably want to recruit me anyway.

With my official neutrality credentials validated and having read the entire thread through, in addition to a few others here for some background and point of reference, I feel HIGHLY QUALIFIED to make the following statement:

I think that a few of you here are just a tad bit too sensitive and need to learn to take a step back and be able to laugh a bit at some of this stuff. Getting your panties in a wad over online forum back and forth remarks just seems like an over-reaction on your part. In reading the signature thread it seems to me that was just a way of bringing the "over-reaction" by some back into balance on the subject. It was funny if you can let your anger down and just look at it from that perspective.

Cheeeeel Owwwwwttt Meeeeaaaannnnn!!!!!!!!
In my BEST Cheech and Chong Impression Voice

That is my opinion and I am HIGHLY QUALIFIED to make any and all representations as to my opinions. I own them and reserve the right to state them, repeat them, revise them, forget them, deny them and reverse them.

Any comments to the contrary will be forwarded to the moderators with an accompanying letter from my attorney stating that we will fight for my rights in court to protect my rights to such opinion powers and control of said powers.

Now what was this all about again? Can we start this over from the beginning in case I missed something???

OK, here goes ...

Should we form a line as to the original order of our posts ?

Or, can we just randomly post them ?

Maybe Roberto would like to start the ball rolling since he started the original signatures thread.

Go back and kill that entire thread and watch all those posting zealots see their "posts" score drop dramatically.

Why would anybody care what their "post count" is?

Do we get airline miles out of it or something?

Your right. It's nothing but, tell me, how many times have you checked the hit count on your web site?
