I'm having a crazy idea!

I'm going to jump in my plane and fly to Bola. I'll fish and catch some yellowtail. Then I jump back in the plane and fly to B. Asuncion.
I was thinking of doing it in my truck but the driving would be difficult.
Anybody want to have a flying and fishing 4th of July?
I have a Cessna 182 parked at Brown Field in San Diego.

For the 4th, hanging at my Pub. Will be testing the effects of condensation on beverage containers removed from frig and the resulting added humidity to local atmosphere raising the water level of Ensenada bay.

Fishbuck,You should try flying to San Francisquito and fish bigger yellowtail and white seabass 40 to 60 lbs as well as snapers
Water is FULL of bait, but contrary to last week the fish are on the chew as of thursday. You just have to be self contained on ice and other necessities as SF is poorly stocked.

Hollister Hills for dirt biking and camping. Baja is just too far for a short trip. If I could just click my heals and be in San Roque - I definitely would. I just tried it, and I'm still here.

Yosemite Valley for me. Gonna raft the Merced River with plenty of cold Pacifico's. Hike off the beaten trail to get away from the crowds. Just enjoy the outdoors in a cooler environment than Baja this time of year.
