Any tricks to crossing into Tecate and obtaining a Visa?

Hi there -

We are planning on making our first trip south via Tecate instead of the San Ysidro route. Is there an immigration station right there to obtain the BCS Visa, or is there a secondary location we have to go to? What are their hours? Any insight would be great!

Thanks.
Matthew

The immigration office is just across the border on the right.
The bank is directly across the street; to pay your fees.
I have been there as early as 7am and they were open - usually until at least 5pm but someone may know the "official" hours.

We park and one person walks across to get the visas then returns and all drive across together. Normally takes 15 - 45 minutes. There is limited parking for larger rigs or trailers.

The bank takes dollars and returns pesos for change.

Has anyone been there Before 7am like 6am? The sun is up at 6:00am in the summer time right? All I need is the stamp.
