Callen Camper

Callen Campers have been popular for Baja travel for many years. However, my son from Montana just went through a real nightmare with that company.

It seems the new generation who has taken over is very different.

It is a shame to see this happen --- they have been such a good Baja camper. If you have any specific questions, send a U2U and I will explain. Just hope to save someone else from a similar nightmare when they are buying on former reputation.

Diane

Diane-----

This sounds like info that we all should be aware of-------how come no details?

I have owned a Callen Camper for some 23 years, and it is still going strong---------if there is bad news I certainly want to know about it.

(I did u2u you as you requested)

Strange - in 2000 in San Diego I had to get my Northstar poptop camper (with the jacks sitting up in Mendocino) off my diesel to repair a cracked chassis. I was told the Callen camper plant had a forklift and often helped out.

I spoke to old man Callen, who, perfectly politely, told me to stop wasting his time and f-off.

So sad to hear of their hard times . ..

It is still a mystery-----------I sent Diane a u2u as requested but so far no response. I too own a Callen Camper, but I have not delt with Callen for at least 20 years as there was never a reason to.

Diane (JDTrotter) did just u2u me with the info-------if you have any interest in CALLEN CAMPER you need to contact her for details--------it is not a pretty picture.

What a shame to see a fantastic long-term reputation for excellence be abused like apparently it is now--------and what a dumb business decision [if any thought at all (???)went into how they are now acting]

They will regret it, and they (Callen) better do something fast about it. or their history.
