The nice thing about being retired and going back and forth as often as we do is we get to enjoy the best to two worlds for the length of time we choose---most of the time.

It saves us from the fever----but the dogs? Well that is another story---they so much prefer the Baja home all the time.:yes:

who's got bajafever?

I do.
Since I drove north out of Baja about 18 years ago after my first time long-term camping down the peninsula, the only times I have NOT had Baja fever is during the times that I have been there !
I've got it so bad that I've even thought of moving to California (g-d forbid) just to be closer.
4 1/2 months and counting ....... see ya then !

Only one week until my Baja fever is cured........although it has been spared from becoming a full blown Baja flu by recent day trips south of the border. Can't wait!

A friend of mine has a house in Erendira....and is also the manager of a baseball team here in San Diego. A few years ago the baseball team started going down to play against the local Erendira baseball team and then do a big fiesta afterwards. A bunch of people from town cook an entire pig amongst other culinary treats. It is an amazing time!

how it works...

you venture far enough south in baja and then venture down dirt roads that you have no idea where they go and then end up in a place thats very pristine in its lonesome beauty with waves that are made just for you....do this a few times and and you will have an addiction far stronger than sex,drugs,alcohol,money.......why,i'm not quite sure although i have a few ideas but one things for sure the famous "baja fever" is an affliction that only those that have been there can truly understand:cool:
