Thanks for that, Windgrrl. Most people spell that, "Psycho" but I appreciate your rendition.

So Dennis, are you telling us that you are a psychic psycho? If that is the case I could definitely use a peak at your crystal ball!

:P

Just talked to Shari and she is flying out tomorrow. Cristina and I are looking forward to meeting her in person. Still waiting for you to stop by when passing through...

canadians are big babies and theres no one cheaper than a canadian....there i said it. Ive been living here for 15 yrs, becoming a canadian citizen on friday and its all true. Great place to live, love canadians, but giant complainers.....i think it had to do with our roots....americans are more aggressive ergo more action less talk (revolutionary war vs 100yr long tea time conversation with the queen). net result is very little violence in canada....and i like that, thats why im here (if you exclude the awesome boating and fishing). I digress, the brenda martin case was huge here....and most thought she was guilty.....if you really read the story, you have to be brain dead not to know you were taking money from a crook.....the CBC ran that story every day for a month....they love the "mexico's dangerous" story especially when the weather here is crap. the other news outlets dont fear monger as much....i doubt it has made much $ difference to the baja real estate market.....the guys with the $ are pretty smart here.....

What the F? Dr Tom? the Canadians I have met in Baja have been aggressively gregarious, want to team up and work together...Pull over and make sure we in El Rosario. Canadians I meet in the US, (H395) are polite honest and sincere as a rule. Much more trustworthy than Estados Unidos on the average.
Does Dr Tom have an ax to grind here? I wonder. Flame baiters have been targeting these pages a great deal recently. Well, Dr Tom, how about it? Are you just whining from the great white north of actually contributing to these Baja comments?

Dr.Tom,

Are you stuck on stupid or what?

You complain about Canadians complaining and then claim to be happy to be a recent immigrant to Canada.

What's up with that?

It seems that a lot of posters on this board seem to think that you have to love a country to live there.

There are many reasons why people might relocate.

in my experience in being in business for 25 years and in 14 medical practices, is that canadians are MUCH more cost conscious than their california counterparts. Yes, they are nicer, more polite, helpful etc....but when it comes to $, they are VERY conservative. Thats just my experience. Most real estate agents will say the same, and i use them as an example of business person, that has common interaction with canadians in mexico. Now, I love canada and canadians....and i married one. Canadians are just more fiscally conservative, in my opinion....

Nice of you to be Frank...............

Doc!

Gee you really struck a nerve with that comment. It was nice of you to pretty it up for the meek.

I suppose I should weigh in here since I see plenty of Canadians(they dislike fried food). With that said, consider a 10% tip on an excellent meal and service a good one.

Yeah, to build illogical and destructive authentic villages and golf courses.

Yes, they want to get their piece of coastline and make it home. I wonder, do you think Asuncion will have 8 or 16 holes?;)

Doc,
Now that is different than calling them cheap whiner babies, isn't it.....most folks on this board seem to espouse conservative views....does that make them cheap whining babies??? I doubt you would hurl that accusation at the republican voters on this forum....

actually there are no republicans in canada.....its a different political system believe it or not. and if there were republicans, and they were cheap whiner babies, id call em that.....come to think of it, some of the wealthiest cheap whiner babies up here would be republicans if in the states, so actually, youre incorrect. I dont think cheap whiner babyism is biased by political persuasion.
