That is a great pic of the new Todos Santos Bed & Breakfast..

We have been building it for a couple of years and we are just looking for a couple more trailers to complete the project.

Check out our new lap pool ....

Maybe they're aware of all the break-ins in Todos Santos and are taking action to prevent theft. Looks solid to me, until someone backs a large truck into it and just goes through the wall...

Haven't had a bad trip yet....

Can't post anymore of this email because there are too many references to names , etc ....

I have been asking around town about this monstrosity and it is being referred to as the "bunker" .

Here is a note to me from one of our local architects :

" Hi Ron...

Thanks for sharing! I’ve been aware of this monstrosity for quite some time...starting way back when this bunker first started to take shape. I thought it was some utility building the government was putting up for the sewage treatment plant! "

I guess we aren't any closer to our treatment plant.

BTW, When I was over there yesterday the air was heavy with sewage smell from our open sewage ponds which were also built on the dunes ....

Can you imagine being hunkered down in your bunker and smelling the sewage which is less than a hundred meters from your new casa :lol::lol:

Our open sewage storage ponds (yes they built a second after the recent spill) are NOT treatment ponds but just open sores on our beautirul dunes.

I really don't understand why anyone would want to live next to the sewer ...... "Beautiful Todos Santos"

The next time a hurricane rolls through TS go by and take another picture, It will probably look the same, will your house? What do you care what someone else's house looks like? I just came back from Mazatlan and I can tell you there are lots of Mexicans there that would love to have a house like that compared to the ones they live in. I say live and let live, you're in Baja now don't waste your time criticizing others housing choices. I challenge you to get to know the owners next time they are around, you might meet a really nice person and become friends.

But Gregg, I have volunteered the turtle man to be the security guard. Doesn't that make things better?

It's beyond bad taste. It's a matter of bad design, IMO.

No cross ventalation. No shaded south and west facing walls. HOT!

Too bad that it probably won't float off into the Pacific in case of a chubasco.

Lighten up you guys, didn't anyone notice the nice palm tree planted beside the place? Real ecologically minded. Sort of like having stuffed dog...I could go on, but won't. Well, just one, Allan Watts "we are a society of gormands that eats the menu".

It looks like a Winnebego with the wheels off to me.

There is a guy in San Lucas selling used, 8x40 shipping containers for "offices and casas." Join 3 or 4 together "for a wonderful living space!" He paints them a pretty sky blue on the outside. Heck, he says they even cut windows into it for an extra fee. Why didn't I think of that? During the summer, it would be just like living in Stalag 17! :light:
