#3637 solved.

I used to run above 90% when I was in my prime and played a couple dozen games a day and stayed away from T.V. Not that good any more, brain is full of intestinal gas and intestines full of brains. I guess I've been watching too much Faux News.

Go ahead and tell me you did 3637 on the first try.

My previous string was 5 in a row, that punk somehow stunned me eleven times!!! But then I'm just a mid-70%er.

I thought I had kicked the habit, but it just keeps dragging me back.

I have the new Vista operating system. Vista allows you to "undo" moves all the way back to the beginning of the game. I am now up to 500 games without a loss using this feature. Kind of takes the fun out of it.

Oxxo: I do not know if "undoing" all the way back to the beginning is lucky or cheating! Personally I really enjoy freecell but my latest bad habit is Jewel Quest, talk about addicting!

Making "Freecell" more interesting, try having the finished columns in a pre determined space. Either all in the center or two on each end or every other space. Makes it a little more challenging. I have seen a version in Canada somewhere, where you could only move one card at the time. Challenging!

Ah yes!!!!!!!!!!! Brain Stimulation. Much better than just addicted!!! Also too much time doing the "E Games" disk. Didn't know there was a millliion ways to do solitaire until I stumbled onto this disk!!!! Add Hearts, MJWIN, Bridge, Backgammon (now doing it also on the wide wide world of the internet with other players) and Minesweeper. I should have a very sharp mind by the time I reach 100. However, I don't think any of my 'organs" will live that long.

Party Poker. Fine site. Lots of options. With good connection, lots of fun.

If on a US connection, can only play with play money.

That just does not seem right to be able to go all the way back. Just think if you could play poker that way.:yes:

Our biggest addiction is Scrabble---learning the Scrabble dictionary lots of strange 2 letter words.

busted. do I get some days off my addiction time if I've moved on to double Freecell? I would play Roof Rats and/or Scrabble but can't find good versions for the MAC. and now it's the daily crossword puzzle that Yahoo does. any other simple game suggestions, MAC friendly? these are my morning tea after email time wasters...but, hey, it's hot out there.

reality\'s never been of much use out here...

Perhaps Too Much Disclosure

I had a stroke that affected my vision and my neurologist says that Freecell (and other games requiring logic and strategy) helps to build alternate routes and recovery in my brain paths.

The Growling Gabacho would disagree, he thinks that I have just been mental from the start. :fire::P
