Road Conditions after Julio

1100 hours Tuesday 8/26/08

Quick update on road conditions after the storm.

The road from the Propane plant north of Santa Rosalia to San Bruno.

From the gas plant to Santa Rosalia, there is lots of trash washed onto the highway, but crews are cleaning it up as we speak.

Santa Rosalia to Ejido San Lucas, wide open, only one vado with some trash. Line of Semi's parked at Ejiodo San Lucas waiting for the opportunity to go further south.

Apparently a bad washout just north of San Bruno, one lane traffic and lots of semi's waiting for better conditions.

Highway 5 at La Ventana closed - probably open later today.

(reported by friends in San Felipe)
