the nightmare!
how long can the message be? it was unbelievable and i will NEVER have a mobile home brought to mexico again...especially by the transporter that i
had the misfortune to use. actually, i had to do his job...since he got the money and then turned it all over to me and a man who is now helping put
it together...it's a double wide.

it was not fast!
it took a month to get it there...the transporter did the import papers and that was the end of it after he got $$...then it was grief, pain and
anger. anyway, like when having a baby, one forgets the pain after it's all over...

i had a transporter. they know what to do... it is costly. what i had to do is meet the drivers at the storage yard in otay, (this was not my job),
it was the transporter's) i was there at 3:00 in the morning and it was not even at the correct place...so we finally found the place it was located.
we finally got it to la mision around 5:30 in the morning.

Diana,
My dear, you're turning this in a teeth pulling saga.
Located it where? Then, to get it to where you were going... you did what ??...put it in the trunk of your car or a pick up bed ?? Come on... tell us
the story with some particulars and don't leave us in suspense.

there are 2 company's here in Ensenada that will do the whole thing for you at low cost. they do it every day. they buy used Mobile homes in the USA
and import them here ware they refurbish them. then they sell them and deliver and set them up with permits and all.

the never ending saga
all i wanted to do is share my joy in getting my mobile home from ramona, ca to la mision. i had no intentions of arousing curiosity further...
i hired a transporter to do this job. it was hauled by 2 trucks and for a month, it took many excuses as to why it was not happening. u ended up
getting ripped off, as many promises were made and not delivered. i do not know what to say...so, i can only answer questions to the best of my
ability. i am happy to answer/fulfill any curiosity.
and please share my joy. i deserve it.

Details are what is appreciated...
Diana, there is no limit as to how much you can type in the message box here on Nomad. While we really appreciate you taking the time to share with us
your 'adventure', it is frustrating that you have to be asked so many follow up questions... Please provide the details (who, what, when, where,
why)... pretty please!
Bruce, look back at dianaji's previous posts seeking help for how to get a mobile home to La Mision from the US. Too bad for diana that you missed
them...
I am curious as to how long it will take her to become a legal resident (FM-3) and to legally have personal property in Mexico.
Please don't get angry at us Diana, we want to help and also learn from your experiences!

two trucks, a pickup, my car, a mini van, all of us drove from the otay holding station where they store the mobile homes. perhaps it is not called
otay crossing, but it was in otay on the mexican side.
i swear!
that's my story and i'm sticking to it. i don't make up stories.

We need details. You came here looking for help and were given plenty of it. We got involved in your dilema and did our best. Don't leave us hanging
on who did what. You had a bad experience with an importer and I believe you should give us the benefit of your knowledge by forewarning us for
future dealings with the irreputible company. That's the "give and take" of the site.
Don't you agree?
