Sounds comfy, Judy. Yesterday here, I actually had to put on a coat in the AM but, by around 10 it was Pacifico weather. Looks the same today.

My apologies to those in Sinaloa. I just read that they have had some real problems with flooding from Lowell.

Just across the river from Baja, nice enough today. Badazz thunderstorm yesterday dumped a lot of water, took a few trees down, blew some roofing
off. Add to last week's storm and we've had more rain than probably in the last 5 years, cumulatively. The Yuma desert here is not like Baja or the
Sonoran desert around Tucson. No saguaro, mezquite, ocotillo etc. (except where planted & watered), mostly just sand and creosote bushes. But it
won't be long now before we have a nice carpet of purple nama, sprinkled here and there with ajo lillies.
All my childhood I wanted to be older. Now I\'m older and this chitn sucks.

We cooled down to 74 F last night,
Right now it is 78 F , It's a beautiful morning,
I am trying to catch up with the weeds , which have really been growing ...
Yahoo News this morning stated that Lowell is now in Texas
"Texans were getting hit from both sides, as the remnants of Tropical Storm Lowell, a Pacific system, dumped nearly 8 inches of rain on Lubbock in 24
hours, flooding homes and roads"

Lubbock Texas_ Home of Mac Davis, Buddy Holly and Texas Tech!
I was right in the Middle of that Rain yesterday! It is hard to beleive the actions of People when it rains that much in 24 Hours on a Flat Surface.!!
For those who are unlearned about Lubbock, it is located 106 miles South of Amarillo. Surrounded by Cottonfields, Hay,Arizona Maise. Home to Texas
Tech{My one and only Uncle on my Fathers side left them 5 Million Dollars} Didn't leave me a Dime.!
Lubbock is a good town, just bad drivers when it rains more than an Inch an Hour!!

as I have been saying for years Hurricanes bring much more benefits than destruction. the destruction only happens when people build in the wrong
place or not good enough. most of the water that makes Baja ca. Sur livable comes from Hurricanes. it is nice when we get a gental storm sutch as
Lowell, we need more like that

Hurricane? John and Julio were tropical storms/depressions, big thunderstorms. "Ike", is a Hurricane. Tomorrow morning, we'll be able to see the
effects of a real Hurricane.
