The Cortez Club-La Paz

My wife and I recently stayed in La Paz for a week. We stayed in a hotel near The Cortez Club. The Cortez Club offers, among other things, diving and fishing trips. I believe The Mosquito Fleet is what their fishing outfit is called. At any rate, I had a little "issue" with them whilst in La Paz. I won't post what happened until it is resolved either way.

At any rate, I would be interested to know what your experiences with The Cortez Club have been..whether good or bad....

Mike: Perhaps a visit to the Spanish Language forum would clear things up.

When I visited my cousin in South America and was telling him about how my then girlfrined liked to call herself "Concha" or "Conchita" because her name was Shelley. He gasped and exclaimed"NO!! THAT WOULD BE "CONCHI" not ever Concha or Conchita" Apparently in those parts those words have a very different conotation altogether...

The cortez club is owned by james curtis, they have access to the sea, a bar, food and drinks, it has a great view.

What was your experience professional or otherwise? It would help to know customer's desire, experience, interest?
