Danger for motorcycle riders entering Mexico!!!

Ever since the San Ysidro border road exit has been rerouted you have to negotiate a curved section with a very deep groove/channel cut in the pavement. Located between the second and third lane from the right and app. 100yds from the border road clover turn, it is a serious hazzard for bike riders. A friend got his wheel caught, went down and broke his leg in seven places. If you get caught there is no escape. You will go down.

Be aware!

Nomad Riders,

All the more reason to enjoy the Tecate crossing....not to mention the delightful road along a few different US routes to Tecate...and then south:spingrin::spingrin:

Now, for the off-roaders, you can rest assured that your injuries will likely occur in some silt or on those sections where, after cresting the road on a hill at speed, the road turns 90 degrees to the left or right within 100 feet or so ...:o:O:o:O:(

Chollo and rocks, flats, and tacos & beer at the end of the day;D
