Cascades de Baja

Wow! Finally got my one week reservation for April at this most beautiful hotel site in all of Baja....I felt honored to get it from a couple in KY who let it go for a mere $1200.00 a week + whatever............wonderful spot to write in and I feel a great new book coming on.

Oh! That Lady who caught a 1102 pound Black Marlin will be joining me this time around...Some guys just get real lucky all of their lives............and that be me.

I know a better getaway spot than that one
and it costs a whole lot less.

Out of my price range but a beautiful spot. I think it is probably the nicest on Playa Medano. Used to camp right there back in the day when there were no hotels that far out of what was then a much smaller town.

Cascadas de Baja

Well, if this is the Cascadas de Baja in Cabo, it is as beautiful as Bernie said, we owned there for about 8 years. It is a timeshare and one of a kind built by Peter Giddings, who has since passed away. He also built Ocho Cascadas in PV. There are more pictures at both clubcascadasdebaja.com and ochocascadas.com

Wow Bernie, you are one lucky man. But, I'm not sure about the writing part....such a beautiful place and the lovely fishing lady along too....I don't think you'll have much time for writing!

Enjoy!

I have never needed much sleep......That is the place and no I didn't buy into it....

Keri, Yes! we had a ball at the Roar Foundation....Tippi had dinner with us and we talked for about 4 or 5 bottles of good wine,,,,,,,,,Then we retired to our own Safari Tent with a king sized feather bed....Dakota the tiger was pacing a mere eight feet from our tent..........and the Lions roared all night....if anyone ever gets a chance to do an over nighter there, they only allow two couples in one night a month, do it! Camera man followed us around a recorded Jaime with the cats....Okay I know it is not Baja....but I did tell Tippi how several of us Nomads helped 'jeans' rescue a lion in Baja Sur.

Dick, I hope you are talking about the end of this month...We'll bring our slide presentation of the Lions and Tigers then.

Oh! Mateo and Barbara were at my house last week and they saw the presentation....I still have not seen it...but just may find the time tomorrow.

WORNOUT---Thanks for posting the great pictures.....Jaime is now going nuts.........with just a bunch of WOWS! sent my way....and they caused me to look back at this thread
