Scotia Bank "Fidei" Update

As reported a couple of days ago The Scotia Bank "Fidei" department has moved to the new Scotia Bank in San Jose. My last conversation via email was with:

Adriana Gpe Gonzalez Huerta
Ejecutivo Administrativo Fiduciario
San Jose del Cabo, B.C.S.
Tel. (624) 17-2-64-25
Fax. (624) 17-2-64-12
aggonzalez@scotiabank.com.mx

Hopefully this is still current info...which was copied & pasted from her email.

I did get a form letter response from Sra Gonzales at Scotia Bank yesterday and although her location was signed San Jose del Cabo, the bank wire transfer information she sent me for fidei payments was still the same Cabo San Lucas branch???

At least the move of the fiduciary dept explains why no one answered the phone at the Cabo branch i guess.

I'll confrm one more time that he payment actually goes to Cabo before I send money off to them, but I don't know why they made you go to the SJdC branch to pay yours in person Karen.

oladulce,

We did pay our fidei in Cabo...we were told the fidei department had just moved so they took the payment then after returning to the USA I emailed a copy of the payment to Sra Gonzales. When our fidei is due next August I am hoping they will allow us to pay the Scotia Bank in Cabo...time will tell. If not we will go to San Jose to pay then over to the Mega store to stock up on "wine"! That way it want to a wasted trip.

The last time we were in the Scotia Bank in Cabo, which was early July, there were several empty desk that were once occupied. One of our friends that lives in our condo did go to San Jose to pay in person with Sra. Gonzales. Who knows what the rules will be when it is time for us to pay next year. Keep me posted.
