Yes! Thank you, BMG and "Linguini" (I leave it to Kate to keep all those letters in proper order). It was a beautiful evening with wonderful food,
plenty of drink, and great conversation. As another old lady sang, "Who could ask for anything more?"

Thanks to Vandenberg for creating the "excuse"...HEY! We here in La Paz don't take these things lightly, we don't just get together at the drop of a
hat! It takes the right people & stringent justification; M/M Vandenberg surpassed that justification! Thanks to BMG & Lingililingili for
once again graciously opening their home to all the riff raff...'errrrr...I meant to say the highly diversified & interesting group of Nomads
& non-Nomads alike. There were attendees from around the corner, around town, out of town, out of the country; including a couple of notable
representatives from the U.S. Nation's Capitol...OMG, I hope their trip report doesn't make it to a Congressional Investigation Committee! Good thing most of us have aliases!
Great mix of interesting people! Great food! My thanks to gnukid for translation of the "message of love" written in the dust on my back
window...that'll teach me to wash my car!
Edit...Heaven forbid! A typo!

Must admit, not a bad happy hour for the first of our winter season! It was a pleasure meeting all the new Nomads that were here and always a pleasure
to see our "regulars". We must try it again and this time get even more new faces in! The appetizers everyone brought were wonderful and the
beautiful tiles that the Vandenberg's brought to so graciously gift were great! Thanks again everybody.

I DID take my camera, but was having too good a time to ever take it out of my purse this time!
I'm certain the pics that were taken will require prior approval by the subjects before public posting!

I had a great time and it's always fun to meet and make new friends as well as see old friends again after our summer escape. All in all, the party
went well and the newly scrubbed toilets were duly praised.

I hope the above photo is suitably blurry enough.

unidentified backs & body parts! I recognize everyone in that
pic, so it might be too clear! But there were a few people missing from that pic

I'm already in trouble for posting too clear a photo so this let's just say the photo includes in random order: Lingililingili, BajaLera,
LongLegsInLaPaz, Vandenberg, SkyMedBarb, Lencho, OldLady (and her old man), Morgaine7, and some other non-Nomads. GnuKid, CapitolKat (and wife) and
BMG are not pictured.

May I add my thanks for that wonderful get together.
And ,of course, a special thanks to BMG and Linguini for opening their home to us, complete strangers.
We expected a few folks, maybe a beer and some conversation and ended up in the middle of a great party. Steve and Ana have the knack for throwing
great parties immediately noticed by Barb, whom, as hostess of many of our bar parties, is well aware of the work.
We're back in Loreto after 5 hours, dodging Parade traffic in both La Paz and Constitution. We'll be back sometime in the spring and will announce our
arrival on the board.
A great bunch of Nomads indeed.

The 1st Ana-ual Flan Cook-Off (thread) was a lot of fun. We made a mistake and scheduled it during the La Paz Bay Fest activities so quite a few people couldn't make it. This
next year we'll look at the calendar more closely.
The 2nd Ana-ual Flan Cook-Off will be sometime this spring. As before, I will be the official judge. Anyone wishing to pre-enter a flan may do so at
any time.
