No worries amigo!
Yes, Taggart sent me a case of his books free for me to give away, perhaps at a future Viva Baja party?
He needs space at home, and he printed a lot of books that are taking up too much. The book isn't that old and it is a decent travel essay... Whenever
one self publishes, the footwork to market a book is perhaps under-estimated?
I emailed Taggart yesterday, and have yet to hear back from him... I did send him a link to this thread.

OK, apologies to Amir is I mis-read his post, but sorry Toneart, you may be a bit of a newbie on this board, or possibly missed some posts as I have
had some very rude comments posted to me by Amir (that uncivil culture you mention above) in the past, so I assumed the above was more of the same...

Rob, the pleasure is mine... Delivering books to beautiful Baja locations and great Baja amigos is as much fun as reading them... !!
I know you will enjoy the others, too... they are some of the best, classic reading/ info. books: ('The Journey of the Flame' by Fierro Blanco, 'The
Forgotten Peninsula' by Joseph Wood Krutch, & 'There It Is: Baja!' by Mike McMahan).
Right now, I know you are out by the Baja 1000 race course near San Felipe having fun and watching the for Trophy Trucks that will soon be there. Hope
you have a blast!

For El Camote, Bajaguy, and others who didn't get there book (I hope you did by now)... Just in from Taggart:
"Thanks for the follow up. My email account has got haywire so things might have gotten a littl escramble. I think there was only one person who got
lost in the mess and I took care of it. If you know of anyone else- please tell them to email me again and I will send off a book as soon as possible.
So far it has been a pretty good sucess. Taggart"

Received the book yesterday and read it last night.... easy to read... this would be a good stocking stuffer for XMAS for a friend who has some
interest in Baja.... it basically is an annotated "trip report" that would perhaps intice beginners to take the trip... and for the more experienced a
thumbnail of what you have experienced... after my years in Baja... I kept wanting to tell them about this and that .... they were really close to a
lot of great stuff....
