Explosion in Ensenada?
Right at 4:00 p.m. today at least my area of Ensenada was rocked with what sounded like an explosion. Right now I hear all kinds of sirens. I live in
Valle Dorado just south of downtown.
Anyone else hear or feel it?

Yes it is! That's the first place I looked and we are directly across the bay from them. We think earthquake though it was mostly sound and rattled
the windows...and the dogs! We thought it might have been a rock/land slide due to all the rain. We're between Punta Banda and La Bufadora. If
Lizard Lips felt it where he is, most likely a quake.

Exploded Electrical Transformer maybe?
I'm not there and don't know if it is raining.. But if the Ensenda power system is anything like the power system in Mexicali, this could very well
be possible.
Every major rainstorm knocks out hundreds of transformers in Mexicali. The go out with a very loud explosion and flash. One that exploded just
outside had me awaking in a hurry and checking that my limbs were still attached before I realized what happened.
There the main problem is dust build up then shorting in Mexicali, but bird nests, etc can cause it too. Instead of hundreds (and yes, sometimes it
sounds like a war zone during some storms) you may have just lost a few transformers if it is storming.
I checked for earthquakes on the USGS and nothing near there except a 4.0 last Saturday.

Oh I doubt we'll have to wait that long...

Dynamite for the new golf course!
just more exploitation on our environment. Yesterday Woods and crew were running up and down Punta Banda via Helio's.
This is just more of a rush to excavate, level and ruin a area that really is not in need of the ultra wealthy and their need for exclusivity and
giving nothing to the community - bar the Ejido who will sell anything. And has already began the retraction of agreements etc.
The noise could have been dynamite to begin construction of
Lobera- adding to the desalinization plan that will spew residue into our fishery. As I understand it is already in place.
Locals, try and drive to the development and see how you are greeted. I thought mexican people had access to the coast line???????????????

dynamite at "punta brava" would not have affected where Lizard Lips lives....where WE live, YES; because we abut the Punta Brava property. But it
sounds like it was much stronger closer to Ensenada.

It probably was the Aurora (replacement to the SR-71) on a return to the US and headed to it's current base at Watertown, NV. The noise and earthquake
like jolt was from it's "re-entry". It usually makes the return over the unpopulated Nevada desert south of Calentie where the noise and "jolt" are
not as noticable. The Aurora is powered by two regenerative air-turboramjet (RATR) engines with a speed between Mach 5 and Mach 6 and a cruising
altitude of 40 kilometers...........
Just my 2 cents worth

Any updates? We used to live in Valle Dorado & that is actually quite a ways from Cantu and Punta Banda. Lizard Lips, we lived on the corner of
Zertuche & Lago de Chapala. Are you anywhere close to that?

Does it shoot microwave beams to implanted RFID chips? GNUKID might need to know about this right away!
If it is flying near Ensenada then the government will probably "beam" me into ANTHONY'S on my way through town this weekend. They will probably make
me drink beer and spend money on the girls.
I'll try and resist but those "beams" are like voices in my head.
It's always the same. It says "Go over and talk to that girl with the big b**bs"
What can I do? It's the government.

Fish.......I would be more concerned with the black helicopters...(they DO exist)....and as a safety measure, I would put more aluminum foil in my
hat.
Happy fishing, and stay away from Anthony's......it's bad Ju-Ju

Bad Ju-ju... ya she works at Anthony's
I'll try the heavy duty foil this time. I really don't have the time to kill in Anthony's this trip.
Well maybe on the way home...
