Christmas just came early!

In the mail for me anyway.I just got Zacks book "The anglers Guide to Trailer-Boating Baja" and after thumbing through it it looks great. Since it's snowing here in southern oregon I might as well sit next to a warm fire and read (dream) about fishing in Baja. I'll report on the book when I'm finished.;D

Baja Fishing Books

If you haven't read it already you need to get "The Baja Catch" which was originally written by Ray Cannon and then by Fred Hoctor. Both are dead now but a local guy here in South Goofafornia took over the project and I think you can still get the book...on Amazon.

We have a place at Gonzaga Bay...just south of Islas Encantadas which are named that way because the fishing is so good...seiners and trawlers can't get in there to rape the sea because of rocks. There are times when the fishing is just magnificent....also times, obviously, when the Goddes of Baja decrees that nobody is hungry except me.:?:

Ray Cannon, then Tom Miller, then Fred Hoctor, then Gene Kira all were editors for Western Outdoor News' Baja section.

Ray Cannon wrote The Sea of Cortez and How to Fish The Pacific Coast... he autographed both my copies in 1967.
