Yesterday afternoon Teina and I drove out to Valle Chico to see if we could see snow on Sierra San Pedro Matir. The answer was no as the clouds were
so low and with the slight rain that was falling we just couldn't see any.
But this morning with the sky clear and the sun bright, we can see lots of snow on all the mountains visible from my home.
Covered down to maybe 3000 feet or so.

well, we were swimming near Mulege a couple days ago and bikini weather up until yesterday when it rained! All those snow birds have brought this cold
down with them...hope the tuna like it.

Not quite Mexico, but just a little north and I imagine there were scenes like this just below the border. 
I just love snow on cactus----this one is my favorite (sorry I also posted it in another thread---GUILTY)

OK I can't go south to BAJA this year so I'm sending the Christmas weather down to you. -27.4 C here right now and plunging. UGH I hate it, but I'm
willing to share. I say snow on sunday for BAJA this is one BIG artic high.

Congrats Ken you are calling Laguna Hanson by it's real name, thanks, I guess Hanson it's easier than Parque Nacional Constitucion 1857.

We're freezing our buns off in the Boise area - it's only supposed to be 14 degrees tomorrow. Baja never looked like a better alternative. Snow all
around us here and no escape in sight!!!

I haven't had the pleasure of visiting Laguna Hanson. But, it's not too hard to pronounce a mountain range by its specific name.

I can belive that ither David K and you haven't been in Parque constitucion 1857, being so close to the border and if you went to SPM you have to go
to PNC1857..

What???? Neither have seen Luguna Hansen??? That is one of the true GEMS of Baja. Listen to the CAT, guys and go see it ASAP-----------Fabulous!!!!

Am. artifacts there, and they are beautiful too (yes, I photographed them and left them "in situ" like a good boy).

Nope, I have not made it a point to visit this park. I would like to, but not yet. Maybe, in '09.
