Just found that a Whale was trapped in Fishing Nets off of Los Cabos.
Whale was freeded and released with no problems or damage.
Was surprising that the"Do -gooders had not jumped on this with all Four!
Sure glad the whale was O. K.

I have had the honour of helping whales in danger before several times and when I tell my boatmates we are going to help a whale, they get pretty
nervous and scared...but whales know they are in trouble and that you can help them and so they stop moving and remain very still while you do what
you have to do. It's a wonderful feeling saving a whale.
I also once saw a sealion helping a whale by biting off a rope that was wrapped around it's tail...cool eh!

Merry Christmas!
yes I am a Do Gooder when it comes to Whales. Starting from my first visit to the Sea of Cortez I have loved the Whales and watched them with love
and interest.
However I do not beleive I should start a "Do Gooder whale Club" beg for Donations to Save the Whales and then spend the money on other things!!
I have had a very close relationship with several Whales while fishing out of Loreto. Love the Whales.

Last spring, while working in East Cape, my cousin's son spent almost 3 hours cutting a fishing net off a humpback whale. Very little was ever said
about the incident, but it was photographed and posted on-line - www.robbaarongordon.com/whale/. They're worth checking out. Sourdough

The whale story and footage made the national news last night. You can log on to the network sites and get the full story.
They had underwater movies and all...really cool!

Great images! Thanks for the link. It does my heart good to see humans helping these fellow sentient beings.

Going in and out of the bay at San Quintin frequently these past several months I have had the opportunity to get to know up close a few of the whales
who have set up camp there in the bay. They are nothing less than incredible and it is always the highlight of my day...
