Same 49 here in Coyote Bay, Russ...and with the little breeze we have it seems much colder. Sorry John & Stu..no fishing trip today.

Wind chill..hmmm...why not?

WIND CHILL FORMULA

For those who want to know..........if any !

The wind chill temperature is calculated using the following formula:

Windchill (ºF) = 35.74 + 0.6215T - 35.75(V^0.16) + 0.4275T(V^0.16)

Where: T = Air Temperature (F)
V = Wind Speed (mph)
^ = raised to a power (exponential)

Windchill Temperature is only defined for temperatures at or below 50 degrees F and wind speeds above 3 mph. Bright sunshine may increase the wind chill temperature by 10 to 18 degrees F.

Sure would be nice out at Delfonso Island catching some Cabrilla, but here i am with a -5 Degree Wind Child Factor with the wind gusting to 40mph. Had to break Ice for the Horses the past 3 days.

Russ; When Virginia and I lived at Rancho Sonrisa we never recorded any temp below 48 Degrees{16 years}
Did see Snow on the Mountains out of Guerrero negro in 1974.
