awsome pics
this nomad site continues to blow my mind....for so many great photos(like the ones contributed about the tripui fire)and now these 'bike' riding
shots,as the guy who took the photos must have had an awsome camera-digital or..?
if you view these photos on 'F-11' keystroke, they will fill your screen with sharpness-colors-detail that makes one feel that you are right-there
-in good ol-Baja,smelling the cactus flowers.
all the nomad folks should be congratulated for their total dedication to showcasing baja.
BTW...i just saw a t-shirt from an bahamian-olympic athlete-with the words; "BAHA-MAS" and it appears even the 'bahamians' are pro-baja???HA!

excellent work
This guy knows his way around cameras. The photos are technically great. They are incredibly sharp with great color balance. It looks as though he
shot them on film and later scanned them. I didn't think you could get that level of sharpness by scanning a slide.

So this is why...
my web hits have suddenly gone off the charts.
Thanks for all the nice comments. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy our Baja vacations and we look forward to a few weeks in the sun every winter when
its wet and gray here in Seattle.
We have made good friends with the folks who run the San Ignacio B & B (the yurts in the photos) and so we like to hang out there and do day trips to
various places. Excellent dirt biking in most any direction, whale watching, hiking and just hanging out with a Modelo Negro on a sleepy afternoon.
We spent several days in La Paz, where the pizza delivery bike pictures were taken, and we really enjoyed that. We stayed in La Perla right on the
water and enjoyed wandering around town seeing the sights and just enjoying the busy commercial city. Not really a tourist place away from the water
and lots of the restaurants we went to were rather empty. This was 18 months ago, so I suspect tourism was still suffering from the 9/11 attacks.
Those particular photos were taken with a digital camera - a Sony DSC-F717. It is an excellent digital camera, but does take a bit of using to get the
best from it. I've had mine about two years now.

Big Kajuna Pizza
In my opinion is the best in La Paz. It is not uncommon for eateries not not be crowded. I feel crowded when more than a couple of tables ore
occupied.
