More Stars in Here Equals More Brains?
Is it just me, or are there folks in here that think only they can have opinions cause they have been a Nomad longer? Look, if you don't like what I
have to write, don't read it! and for sure don't reply to it! And quit calling for the Nomad police to censor or "take care of me". Bunch of sissies!

Absolutely
If you ain't got a bunch of stars, drink at least a liter a day and pass out on the keyboard by 8 PM, PST, then you ain't got no right to an
opinion!

Not really, you can have a bunch of stars and still be unwanted. Ask MrBill. You make the choice.

Bif, Jack and Tasty have found themselves something to do. It must be progress. Maybe they can keep themselves entertained and away from the adults.

not only do you need lots of stars, you also need lots of wrinkles and a social security check to be taken seriously when opining on how to live in a
shack in the desert.
also, be aware that all info on whales is incorrect unless stated by a drunk nomad with a pair of binoculars and a lawn chair on the beach, and
approved by lead harpoon man david k (per david k, all elite liberal media, liberal university researchers and biased government agencies are to be
ignored until further review and approval by david k)

Well, it looks like the Nomad board has been defibrulated and is alive and well. Nice to see new/old blood rushing through the ol' veins. This
place was in a coma but, we're getting back to normal, ducking missles of steaming cagada flying through the air. Put away all that "Peace on
earth, Good will to man" crapola. That boring season is over.
Fire at will.

In 2008, I was in Colombia more than I was in Baja. My Spanish is now good enough to understand and accurately converse with people in Baja about
the Baja they live 24/7, and this has made me a more aware and educated Baja, and Latin America traveler.
Some commonalities I have observed:
Barranquilla, Colombia:

Baja Grande 2007:

Barranquilla, Colombia:

Tecate, Mexico:

Cartegena, Colombia:

Bahia de San Luis Gonzaga, Mexico:

Peace, Love & Fish Tacos has taken a back seat for the New Year's.

Hey, Ken:
Nice photos of the vehicles in Colombia...I think I would have tried to buy a couple of them and figure out some way of bringing them back to the U.S.
One, the CJ2 in Barranquilla, and the other is the orange FJ 40 in Santa Marta del Rodadero.
Best of New Year, Buddy!

I snapped this photo of these cute babe's outside of a restaurant. The owners watched me and were kinda puzzled as to my photographing their rigs.

Here is a 'Cruiser that quickly passed me by before I could snap her picture (also in Barranquilla):

Here is a super-clean "Hi-Lux/Hi-Rider" pickup - fresh off the car lot in Santa Marta del Rodadero, Colombia:

I'm saving the true eye-candy for last. This was for sale at an on-line retailer that I walked past in Barranquilla, Colombia. This is a Land
Cruiser pickup with a **stock** intake snorkle (not ARB) and a **stock** straight front axle. This bad boy is ready for the Guajira deserts along the
Venezuelan border!!
