Cats at Coco's Corner

We passed by Coco's Corner a couple times on a recent trip. There are still a couple cats there. They look healthy but they certainly devour any food offered to them. On the way south we gave them some smoked turkey:

On the way north all we had was pan dulce. They didn't seem fussy about eating that as well:

Someone made them this nice water bowl which we refilled:

(Don't know why the whole gallery page is showing up. Maybe it will be magically fixed by some greater power.)

If you look at Wikimapia.org or Google satellite, you can see the ranch hidden from the road, just west of Coco's.

This is one mile southwest of Coco's Corner, on the older road to Chapala.

Use your mouse to zoom in or out, and move around overhead.

This is Wikimapia.org (same Google satellite images, but in full screen format). If you click on Terrain map (under VIEW), you get a good topo map of the area.

Yes, Coco is being sent back to his corner! Which in this case means he is a good boy!

We left a 20 lb sack of cat food on Jan. 3, put the bag in a plastic 5 gal. bucket and tied it to the post on his able spool table. Hope the caretakers got to it before the coyotes. Some motorcyclists were there when we stopped, said someone had just fed and watered them and we just missed them. They had come in from the Highway 1 side, don't know who it was.

Glad to hear Coco is coming home!! Just isn't the same with him!!
