You Never Know Who You're Gonna Meet In Baja

Last week I was having dinner with some friends in Baja and ended up meeting Randy Seol, who played drums in Strawberry Alarm Clock back in the 60's. He still plays from time to time, but his main line of work is installing solar panels, and was down in Baja to do an install. This is a clip of him playing recently....pretty impressive stuff!

Being a drummer yourself, my question is did you recognize him, or how did this come out in the conversation?

Just curious...

I had no idea who he was....seeing as how I was born six years after they had their big hit! We were actually talking about music, and his girlfriend mentioned that he was a drummer and that started the whole thing. It was fun talking to him about his experiences over the years....

I met Doug Toms, Reagan's Highway Transportation Czar, while we were all stuck in a wash South of Punta Prieta in the 1972 Mexican 1000.

He actually used his skills to get some organization going and a bunch of us on our way again.

PROOF:

BajaGeoff and The Lone Ranger:

Here is the web site for John Hart: http://www.lonerangerfanclub.com/johnhart.html

Contrary to popular belief, the Lone Ranger is not dead.
Clayton Moore, the actor who played the character on television in the 1950s and who is most
associated with the masked man, passed away in 1999. But there is another actor who played the
Lone Ranger on TV who is very much alive and well - a man who is now the lone Lone Ranger.
John Hart played the part from 1952 to 1954 on 52 episodes of the show while Moore held out in a
contact dispute.

I've seen Raquel Welch twice. Once at the airport in San Jose and once down near Medano beach.

Oh and yes, they're real
