Lost dog

I'm still looking for Prieta who was taken from the plaza in San Ignacio just before the New Year. She is a small, black Chinese Pug with a white chest and paws, a little white beard. One eye is bigger than the other. She could be anywhere. Here is a photo. There is a $400 reward for her.

Have you posted flyers around the plaza? I'm sure that's been done and I am asking the dumb question.

If its not where it is, its where it isn\'t.

I just received a very nice "thank you" email from the owner (I posted a photo and reward info on my site).
Their dog was found in Ensenada with a man who brought her from GN. Reward was paid, dog is back. I will not speculate.

Found dog!!! Last week there was an abandoned doggie in San Roque so we brought him back to town and dropped him by his owners casa. The next day I noticed the Baja Boyz who were camped at our place had adopted him!!! they left today and no sign of the pup so I think he will be yet another illegal immigrant to the U.S. of A from Asuncion!!!

I just met Prieta. What a story!
She now owns a rock in front of our shop.

I'm hoping to get more details from Prieta's mom. Oh if dogs could talk. What an adventure that must have been.

No, it was not me who helped, but hey, I tried.
I don't think I will violate anyone's privacy by sharing this email from Prieta's mom -

"Hi Mark,
I didn't track her down at all. The Universe had to bring her back to me. I put posters up from Vizcaino to La Paz. I handed out about 60 fliers on market day in Vizcaino and I did the same in Sta Rosalia. I think someone put up posters for me in Ensenada and Punta Banda, also in El Rosario.

The fellow who finally called me emailed pictures to me. He said that he had bought her months before in Guerrero Negro and that his sister had seen the posters and told him about the reward. He basically said the only reason he was giving her back to me was because he needed the reward ($400). So we met in El Rosario and did the exchange. I got lucky. I am so happy to know that when I go home the end of this month, it will be with both my girls. Thanks again for your help and God bless you!"
