I too had all kinds of office trips planned....maybe we'll just go on a honeymoon in San Roque!
I figured not too many people were aware of this holiday.

Hmmm. his birthday is actually on March 21, which is Saturday...shouldn't the "holiday" fall on Friday or Monday (preceding or following)???

if you assume...(and we all know what happens when you a-u=me)...that gobernment employees get paid holidays off.......how can I get a job with the Mexican Gobernment? They have WAY more holidays than the NOB. I used to be a gobernment employee in WA state, doesn't that count?

My calendar shows only 7 "Official Federal Holidays" in Mexico vs 9 in the EU. Of course there are about 14 more that are celebrated but not "Official".
