My favorite things about Baja.
1. Taking my coffee up on the roof in the silence of the desert morning and watching the sun rise over the Sea of Cortez.
2. Taking my c-cktail up on the roof in the evening and watching the sun go down over the mountains behind me.
3. Everything else that happens between 1 and 2 above. ;)

Whenever I hear that rainy, chill wind blow. I think it may be time to head for Mexico. Tengo que obedecer mi corazon!

Baja the final frontier! The beautiful Peninsula that is endless, silent and waiting to caress your face or kick your behind. The continuing saga of Baja Nomads and their mission to live seek-out and contact Baja life through exploration of her vastness and attempt to go where no man or woman has gone before.

Actually you do need permits, even for a fence.

There is something about a sunrise on the Sea of Cortez. It will always draw you back.

I love the fact that Baja is within an easy days drive of Southern California. That its' people are so friendly. The different climates make for year-round enjoyment as well.

Thoughts on Baja? Sure..lots of them...Here they are.

Baja reaffirmed what Up North taught me. And it is summed up by this quote from Jonathan Swift:

"Vision is the art of seeing the invisible."

In Baja, there is no such thing as a LONG trip.

The sun raise on the Sea of Cortez is something that will get me out of bed early every morning

Living the adventure of Kayaking somewhere, where no one else is

It is an Awesome thought to know that in one day you can share the beginning of a new day with someone special...

And then end the day with that very same person as you watch the sun set over the Pacific...

There is real now way to grasp and express Baja in words, One must only try to live it, as Baja is what it is.

I have just borrowed many of the pictures posted on this thread for various reasons..............I wanted you to know that I flat out stole your sunset with the guy and gal facing same........I have been kicking my fifth book on Baja around in my head for over a year and this picture just set it in stone.....It will be a travel log on the best beaches in Baja to make love on...........yep and that picture will be posted on my office wall until...could be even after...the book goes to the printer

Pompano.....your quote of Jonathan Swift....is exactly correct when looking or feeling 'Our Baja'....

VISION IS THE ART OF SEEING THE INVISIBLE.....right on and is what would be expected from a guy who listens to his tackle box

Thanks to all of you who responded...........it all allows me to top off my energy levels as I share these thoughts will all of you.
