BOLA
I'm taking my wife to BOLA for first time tomorrow and have a few questions I hope locals will answer:
1. Does anyone need anything brought down from Ensenada?
2. Where to arrange for ponga/ guide
3. How's the wind and fishing?
4. Where to stay 3-4 nights?
Is there a PEMEX there?

Check out Mia's website
The wind is hit or miss. But if you are down there long enough you should get a couple nice "small wind" days.
Larry and Rachels is a decent cheaper place to stay. There are fancier places though.
Have fun and post a report. I'm going down in three weeks and am looking for a fishing report

We are leaving for BOLA 3-19 will be there for a week this time, The weather forcast on Accuview tooks great. The wind forcast is iffy, anywhere from
0-15. Have a great trip and remember Gringo dinner in town on Sunday evenings, usually China's or Las Hamacas for us. Say hello if you see us, we
will be the ones without the tans.

Hi Bob,
Jeff (campo la jolla) and Dern are down there right now. If you guys get the chance, they are 5k south of town. You can't miss our red truck.
Ask for Jose Rosas at Sammy Diaz Sr.'s operation. You'll find it next to Casa Diaz compound.
You'll need to take fishing licenses down with you as they are no longer available in town. See Mia's website for the online route to take. She's got
step by step directions.

There is also a link to the different places to stay:

As for the weather, it's beautiful right now. Check the weather link for past info. If the wind blows, it's usually only for about 3 days.

Have a safe drive, and if you happen to go out to our place, tell the boys I said hello.
