NO BAJA NOMAD STICKERS

I went to Baja Cactus today to buy some more Baja Nomad Stickers to put on my camper shell but they were out. I had two when I arrived at El Rosario, but after I put one on the back window of Sany Espinoza`s pickup truck and one on the crane at El Marmol I do not have anymore left to put on my new camper shell.

Paco on the left and Sany on the right. Paco was raised by Mama Espinoza from the time he was 5 until he was 16. He is now 34 years old.

Sany and me at the crane at El Marmol with Baja Nomad Sticker attached.

David... some questions for El Rosario: Is Antonio there? Is there going to be a festival (Kim Williams at the gift, fossil and map shop or Antonio would know) this July? Will you be going to San Juan de Dios/ El Metate? I would like a photo of the plowed over site of the mission visita... location/ GPS in the other thread you posted at last.

Muchas Gracias...!

David, if you go out to San Juan de Dios again... could you take a photo of where the visita was... after crossing the arroyo, the road climbs up the other side (heading towards El Metate)... curves a bit to the left as it climbs, then curves back to straight at the top of the climb... the visita was to the right of the road about 50' from the road, and was about 90' long... going north-south.

Some 'farmer' plowed right over the top of it... covering up this historic mission-era site, per reports from others... but no photos have yet been posted of the plowed over field.

David K I did not go to El Metate this time but I think I took photos of the destroyed area when I went in December 2007. I will look in my 2007 photos and put it up when I get home.

You also asked me to check to see if they were going to have an El Rosario Festival during July 2009. I called the Delegacion today and asked the secretary if they were going to have one and she said she thought they would but did not have a date. The telephone number for the Delegacion El Rosario is 011 52 616 165 8665.

Gracias amigo!

It didn't happen last year as Antonio couldn't help... and he seems to be the energy that makes it happen there...
