I did the google. Now i have a copy to take to my "print shop" and have them run it on paper that I can "peel off" and place on my rear window. Also
a small one to do the same & place on the corner of my drivers side windshield. We'll see how this works. Though I've never been stopped for
mordida in over 18 years of traveling the Baja's roads. (knock on wood)

Has worked great for me.. Been on my vehicles now for 6 years.. No hassles
One time had a Federal Police right on my back bumper coming into Loreto, trying to read the sticker..
He went around me with a BIG smile on his face

None of the dark window tint the guys are waving at you near the border is legal. |
He is right, you did admit to breaking the law.
Is it wrong to be subject of this controversy? I think you're not 100% in the right.

Just an FYI here...in Asuncion a couple months ago the police were stopping all cars with tinted windows and letting us know that in 2 weeks they
would be impounding and fining cars who hadnt removed the tinted paper...we did...well I only did on one window....(I just put the other one down when
I go to town but I will get to the other one soon). So it is the same law all over mexico even in the small villages. Now the saliva thing is another
matter altogether...so gringos beware of this new law.

I really don't know how anyone could fault the cops in the States for stopping people with darkly tinted windows, same in Baja. I have neighbors in
Orange County where you can absolutely not see a thing into their vehicles. Opaque. I really believe that the police should have some level of
assurance that there isn't someone sitting inside a tinted car brandishing a weapon. There are products available that will reflect UV rays and heat,
but are fairly transparent. I'm not a big fan of the cops, but in this case, I'm on their side.

yes! do you want my address????
the theory goes that every cop knows enough (maybe not the right phrase) to know what the sindicatura is. if he sees your sticker it probably sends a
shiver down his soft spine and he will troll somewhere else....
put this on the back of your ID. shrink it to fit.
Sindicatura del Gobierno Municipal
Tijuana (664)688-2810, 973-7770
Ensenada (646)617-1561, 617-2222
Mexicali (686)558-1600 x1661
tape it on the back and put a crease in the tape so the turd will feel it and turn it over. watch his expression change. this has worked for me last
time i was pulled over for my surfboard sticking out the truck bed 18"????? when the turd saw the back of the license he told me to follow him and he
literally peeled out around a corner way to fast for me to keep up, so i didn't.
