Kittens FOR SALE!!!!!

Ok Nomads, after seeing all the action on the thread posted by oatc about her puppies for sale I got a little jealous. I must say that a lot of you were sharp and judgmental and made her the object of ridicule and scorn for suggesting that one would PAY for a puppy but at least she got some action.

We have since discovered that she does what she can to help stray dogs and some of you have retracted your harsh criticism....I'm proud of you.

Ok, now to my predicament. I have a mother cat sequestered in my bathroom.....she is peeed. She is going to the vet tomorrow morning to be spayed. She will be even more peeed. She is less than 3 years old and I am trying to get rid of her third litter of kittens. I am happy to pay for her surgery so that my neighborhood will not be burdened with the 100 or so kittens that she will otherwise have in her lifetime......did I mention that she isn't even my cat?

Ok, enough about my problems, lets talk about the the problems of the remaining 3 kittens that I have. If I don't find homes for them they will become feral and have hundreds of kittens of their own....providing they survive. If you would like to adopt one I will do what I can to make it happen and will even reimburse you for having him or her spayed or neutered. I will also donate $20 to the local ALMA chapter in your name but they're not FREE ant more, they are FOR SALE!!!!

You missed your chance for the free kittens Nomads. I only have 3 left and they are $5 each. Don't try to get a discount, this price is firm!!!

Ok, let's hear it. Go ahead and flog me mercilessly for selling kittens when there are so many that need homes. I can take it, I have broad shoulders....

I have 2 orange tabbys and 1 calico left....here is their picture

I would like to thank oatc for doing what she can to help the local strays and wish you good luck selling the puppies. I hope you will forgive me for using your situation to try to help the local cats here......dt

That kitten needs to get up to fighting weight. Last kitty we had, the Lab carried it around like a squeeky toy.

Just to let you know, Centro de Salud have a free spaid and neuter permanent program for dogs and cats, the address is 5 de mayo and Altamirano. Also you can get a note from Centro de Salud, to take your animal with Vets: Enrique Blanco or Franzonni, with the note will cost you $200 pesos.
We already have 5 cats, that is the reason, we can no adopt one, the kittens are so cute. Gracias

oatc, thank you for the info. I just picked up the mother cat from the vet. At least she won't be adding to the cat population in the future. I will be leaving next week and won't be able to get the kittens spayed or neutered, hopefully their new owners will. Good luck with your dogs.....dt

How many kitties are left? Please tell us the good news about those who have stepped up to the plate to adopt one— anyone from the NOMAD board?

I still have 3, Woody said he would take one but I couldn't get it to him when he was in Baja....thanks for the offer Woody. I guess Bajaguy would take one if I brought it to Carson City and it could whip his dog. So I guess you could say that some Nomads have stepped up but I haven't been able to deliver.

I still have another week here, I haven't given up yet.....dt
