I saw it last night on San Diego COX, channel 104 (ID).

Watch it Tonight!!!
I've just seen the program. Just received a DVD from Kurtis, the production company. A terrific drama and study of the raw beauty and challenges of
Guardian Angel Island. Riveting perspectives from all the participants, especially the family members.
If you have any interest in fishing remote areas of the Sea of Cortez, in desert survival, and in what happens when it all goes tragically wrong...
watch it, you'll find it gripping.

Just watched the show. Very interesting and touching. Sad that the gentleman that passed did so when they were so close to being rescued.

My girls and I caught it last night. It was so interesting that my 8 year-old, dancing diva, wanted to watch "Escaped" instead of, "So, You Think You
Can Dance"! The 6 year old still had us switching to the dance show at the commercials, though!
It sounded like Rangel blamed the panga driver (pepe?) for getting them into their mess at the beginning! Guess he needed him to survive at the end.
You looked good, Graham, and very insightful! Saludos, H.

I recorded the show and finally watched last night.
I could really identify with the fishermen. However, what kind of person goes fishing and takes a boat from San Felipe all the way to BOLA? What is
wrong with driving to BOLA?
I would have taken the panga to BOLA on the first day while they had the gas instead of looking for the mother ship. Even if they ran out of gas half
way between, the SOC currents would have taken them near land perhaps even close to Loreto.
Another question...what was wrong with fishing from the mother ship? Why the panga?

Thanks for the link, DC. It's really helpful to see the excellent sales pitch.
Plus the link gives excellent advice on what tackle to use for fishing the waters they plan on using the tackle.
